So most of this weekend is already gone, and I am plainly exhausted. Yesterday, I was pretty much going non-stop. I read all of my stuff for Egyptian History for this week, as well as finishing my Chemistry lab due on Friday. I read a chapter of ecology (blah, it was all "humanity is destroying its environment") and about 10 pages of US Civil War for next week.
I did, however, manage to begin my next cross stitching project (YAY), which is called "elegant geisha". I am going to go over to JoAnn's today after I finish my Egyptian History essay to look at more cross stitch things. I am probably going to do a cross stitch of this Gettysburg thing they had there last time because it looks cool, but super hard.
Today, I have two major things which I have to do: Write a first draft of my Ancient Egypt essay on Ptahhotep's Instructions. Right now, I'm going to organize my essay on some basic biographical information, the nature of Instructional Writing in the Old Kingdom and how it relates to Ptahhotep's work, and some of the implications that the work had. It's going to be a combination of an English and a History paper. I think the paper has to be between 6 and 7 pages or 5 and 7, somewhere in there. I would have liked to have started writing this last week, but with that nasty cell bio test, I frankly could not.
The second set of things to do is to write my scholarship essays. There are three for which I am applying, one worth $3000, one $1000, and one $2500.
I wish that I had more time to write essays and such as I would procrastinate.
