Um, why do I have to take this?

So, I started my wonderful summer classes today. Only they are not so wonderful.

Physics I suppose would be ok, assuming that I did not have to have two people who are excessive talkers in my class. The nice thing is that the class only has 17 people in it (which I like). The not nice thing is that it meets for 4 hours a day twice a week for 8 weeks. Which would be 16 sessions, except that the school is closed for the 4th of July, so it's really only 15 sessions, which are now down to 14. So basically 56 hours left.

The other class looks FAR worse. Eight sessions for about 6 hours a day. NOT looking like fun. However, there are 40 minute lunch breaks, which will reduce the classes by 320 minutes, or about 6 hours, which is about one session.

The reading and the material don't look that fun, but fortunately, there's someone in my class from my human physiology class last semester, so I can complain about how much the class probably won't be fun. The assignments seem simple, but there are only three essays, each with three pages. So, I'm wondering how I'll do on those. I think it will be one essay per two weeks. By the way, I technically have to read like 150 pages for tomorrow, and I have not even started the class.

Why do I have to take a class called Religion and Pop Culture anyway? Stupid college requirements. I don't mind major requirements, but college requirements just suck.

So, that was my real post for now.

You have to take religion and pop culture? The prof I had for world religions or whatever it was last year was one of the teachers for at least one session of that class. Last year. Who do you have?

No. I might just end up taking the other ethics class that's in July, because I think that ND wouldn't be able to tell the difference (since the transcript will just say the class and stuff). But I might just end up not taking another class and having more to do next semester. I don't know yet.
